I had to take a couple of days off, mostly because my dreams over the weekend were fragmented and generally non-existent. The only one I remember was Lego Indiana Jones themed, and I was raiding a desert temple made of lego. There weren't many details except that the front door was closing and I had to roll under it.
Last night my dream was entirely an episode of LOST, and it was a sequel to a similar dream I had months ago (same locations and characters.) From what I remember it started in arctic conditions where I was riding up a hill on a cart (not sure what was pulling it.) It was a blizzard out and I was holding onto a frozen human heart (which was to be used on my own primitive open-heart surgery in the wild.) I kept wiping the frozen and ice and snow off of the heart so that it would not get freezer burned.
Somehow we ended up falling into a large body of water. There were three of us. Two of us got to shore and the third hadn't even come up for air, so the guy I was with went and saved him.
I decide to teach the guy that almost drowned how to swim. When he finally learns, I give him a giant screw as a substitute to the Bronze Medallion (since its a survival situation.)
Eventually we find ourselves on another beach with an old man and a girl. One guys shouts to watch out, and a light aircraft crashes against a hill and rolls down into the water. As we go check it out we see a family of marmots and they're talking in a strange language. One of us survivors tries to trick one by trying to give it a high five with a knife in his hands. The marmot doesnt fall for it, and we conclude that they're intelligent. We decide to head back to our island which I now notice is across a body of water. We camp the night, and there are four-wheelers and boaters going around the beach partying.
In the morning we have to climb down a huge crappy ladder to get back to our island. The girl goes first and she decides to slide down the ladder on her back. She hits the ground and screams but then realize that the impact heals her. Then a survivor who can't walk jumps off the ladder and suddenly he is healed. Soon it is my turn and I jump. On impact I see my name tag fly off (???) and make a joke "Oh no, the impact made me lose my name! Now I have no identity!" hahahahahaahahhahaahhahahahahahahahaha
So then it is night time and the fourwheelers come back and they start to crash into us. At first I get mad at them, but then I find out that they're deaf (which justifies it?) and have a disease that makes them look really old when really they're children. I give one a hug and tell them we have to go back to our island, and I start to cry. Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" starts playing and there is a montage of the moon and stars. I wake up with "Comfortably Numb" stuck in my head.
I just remembered the dream before this one. I'm working at a grocery store.
